Odd Fellow International

International meetings of Odd Fellow Lodges in Europe

These meetings are Lodge level activities, which have their roots in the 1980’s and now meetings are arranged every other year in different countries organized by local Odd Fellow Lodges. There are more than 50 Lodges from 10 countries involved and all Odd Fellow Sisters and Brothers with their accompanying partners/friends are welcomed to these gatherings.

Next International Odd Fellow Meeting

will be held in September 2025 in Wrocław, Poland. It will be hosted by the lodge nr 1 Zygmunt.

"Honored and distinguished guests, Dear Brothers and Sisters, Ladies and Gentlemen

We are all here together in the wonderful town of Hildesheim, together in the spirit of Odd Fellow.
To make meetings like this a tradition which will continue in the future I will to the Roland-lodge hand over this baton to pass on to the next lodge in the hopefully long chain of lodges in charge of arranging these meetings.
This baton is on its outside decorated with the colors of the 4 levels of Odd Fellow education system. White is the first one and the top-level is the red one. These colors are also to be seen on your regalia.

Odd Fellow is not just the outside of you. The Real ODD FELLOW is the inside of you.
Here inside the baton is a document telling you about the previous lodges before you, in the chain of organizers.

This ODD FELLOW SPIRIT will help all of us to a greater TOLERANCE.
Tolerance in between people
Tolerance in between religions
Tolerance in between politicians
Tolerance to your next-door neighbor
Tolerance to your wife / husband
Tolerance to yourself.

The speech which the distinguished brother Lars Stridsberg gave in Hildesheim in 2016 while handing over the "baton" for the International Odd Fellow Meetings. This baton (or fiery cross) is here on picture handed over from Andreas Lüers Roland lodge in Hildesheim to Erkki Savijoja no. 24 Kuninkaanportti in Helsinki.

Odd Fellows International Meetings

The intention is to arrange a meeting every second year.
The mission to meet brothers and sisters is expected to be organised,
if possible, by new lodges and in a new country every time.
It has to be fulfilled in the spirit of Odd Fellow.
